Florida Gardening 101 starts September 5th
For those new to gardening or just new to gardening in Central Florida, this four-part class will teach the basics to help you be successful at growing just about every kind of plant.
What You’ll Learn
- Sept 5: Perennials – What, When and Where: Correct placement, planting, and pruning of your perennial plants and shrubs.
- Sept 12: It Starts With Soil: Learn how soil health, soil pH, compost, and mulch can affect your plants.
- Sept 19: Keys to Growing a Successful Lawn: Learn how to manage water, fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides for a beautiful lawn.
- Sept 26: Good Bug / Bad Bug: Learn to discern between pests and pollinators, Learn the correct use of pesticides.
