Liz Sparks is a Planner with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and a Liaison between FDOT District 3 and the Panhandle Wildflower Alliance/Florida Wildflower Foundation. Liz works with wildflower advocacy groups in 16 counties between Alabama and Jefferson County to promote wildflower conservation. Connecting the importance of pollinators, native plants and the creation of linear habitat corridors along roads through modified mowing of roadsides is a major focus of the program. Liz loves to hike, bike and paddle the waterways amidst the natural beauty of north Florida, especially when sharing with her granddaughters. (Bio provided by Mary Cortese)
