Salsa Gardening
Tomatoes abundant, onions overwhelming and peppers aplenty? Put them and other fruits and vegetables to use making tasty salsas. Join us as we prepare new recipes and sample the results. Les Harrison and Shelley Swenson, Wakulla County Extension Agents will be team teaching this session of our cooking school series.
Les will be reviewing general vegetable gardening tips with a special emphasis on how to get the most results if you have limited space and what to avoid when faced with space limitations. Please join us on September 10th at the Veteran’s Memorial Civic Center beginning at 6 p.m. You must pre-register by Friday, September 6th and the cost is $15.00. We will prepare salsas and dine on the delicious results. Think beyond tomatoes and peppers when considering the salsas we will be making. Space is limited so call today, 643-2229.
