The first of four specially curated gardening and craft experiences, ‘Fun with Pressed Plants’ blends southern charm with native and ornamental plants. This in-person class brings the warmth of organic colors and nature into the home. Choose from subtle pops of color or trade the usual for a wider spectrum from deep greens to blush pinks. Rediscover this nod to nature with the warmth and richness of native plants, ornamental exotic flowers, leaves and seeds. Customize your art to complement your home décor while learning about underutilized North Florida plants and the wildlife they support. University of Florida Master Gardeners guide you in pressed flower techniques. Each attendee will make their own framed pressed flower artwork and take their creations home! For a limited time enjoy 2 for 1 Eventbrite Early Bird Admission (details and online registration link below).
$10 materials fee covers materials and instruction to create a unique 8”x10” framed art. 8”x10” frames, foliage and flowers vary. Material fees support local Master Gardener outreach projects such as the National Summer Reading Challenge, Florida-Friendly Landscaping program and demonstration gardens.
