Peanut growers in the tri-states area will have the opportunity to see the latest advances in peanut planting, harvesting and other related equipment at the Alabama/Florida Peanut Trade Show, which will be held at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan, AL, on Thursday February 9.
The Trade Show is sponsored by the Alabama Peanut Producers Association and the Florida Peanut Producers Association. More than 60 exhibitors will attend the Trade Show to display their products, visit with farmers and offer information.
“With production cost continuing to increase, it is important that producers operate as efficiently as possible,” says Ken Barton, executive director Florida Peanut Producers Association. “This Trade Show provides producers the opportunity to gain valuable information that will be helpful in producing a high yielding, high quality crop in 2012. We invite all farmers to attend.”
The Trade Show opens at 8:30 AM CST. A catered lunch will be provided with a production meeting and seed seminar following. For more information please contact the FPPA office at (850)526-2590.
