The purpose of the Future of Food Forum flyer was to grab the attention of potential attendees. The event was a one-day program on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville hosted by the UF/IFAS Institute for Sustainable Food Systems. The flyer had to visually represent the international nature of the event, its focus on science and technology, the guiding themes of innovation, and to look at the future of food with an eye toward 2050.
The goal for the food map was to represent the large variety of foods the globe produces and trying to showcase as many of them as possible, all the while, being mindful of the locations these photos were placed in the composite. Many revisions to the map were done to make sure that this diversity and location were as close as possible. Technology and science was represented in the geometric background.
