Purpose

The purpose of the UF/IFAS Organic and Sustainable Agriculture display is to draw the attention of attendees at public events and inform them of UF/IFAS efforts in organic and sustainable agriculture.

Audience

The original target audience for the Organic and Sustainable Agriculture display included attendees of the 2012 Sunbelt Expo in Moultrie, GA. Advertised as “North America’s premier farm show,” the Sunbelt Ag Expo is the largest agricultural exhibition in the southeast US. Each year, roughly 250,000 visitors attend the 3-day event, which showcases the latest developments in agricultural technology and research. In addition to visiting commercial exhibitors, attendees also learn from the many university and research specialist displays on hand throughout the expo.
