Flagler County
Extension Agent I or II – 4-H Youth Development

As an Extension Agent, you will work jointly for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Extension and Flagler County, a growing area in east central Florida. We are looking for a positive youth development professional who is a self-starter, energetic, and team-oriented. The 4-H Youth Development Agent focuses on 1) volunteer development and 2) positive youth development through collaboration with 4-H volunteers, 4-H Extension colleagues, and Extension colleagues in the other Extension program areas.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in youth development, agriculture education, education, community development/sociology, non-profit leadership, agriculture, or a closely related field is required. We will accept applicants without a bachelor’s degree if the degree will be earned by May 2024.
Hillsborough County
Extension Agent I – III – Urban Forestry

The candidate will conduct a comprehensive Urban Forestry education program and outreach for the county’s population. Also, at least 5% of the candidate’s time will be devoted to 4-H Youth Development, emphasizing forestry and natural resources. The candidate will provide teaching for and management of Hillsborough County urban forestry extension programs.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry or closely related field is required.
Miami-Dade County

We are looking for candidates with academic and people skills who work well in teams, honor their commitments, and innovate in a rapidly changing world. The academic program focus of this Extension Agent position is Agriculture/Natural Resources. As the CED (about 70% of your time), you will lead the total Miami-Dade extension program. As the Agent (about 30% of your time), you will lead through the design, implementation, and evaluation of agricultural education programs designed to assist clientele in small farm management in a resource‐efficient and environmentally sensitive manner.
A master’s degree in agriculture/natural resources or a related field and at least 5 years of professional extension experience or equivalent are required.
St. Lucie County
Extension Agent I or II – Family Consumer Science
