July 1-7 is Clean Beaches Week, a time to celebrate our coastal environments and commit to keeping them clean and safe. Florida has over 1,200 miles of coastline, and they’re host to much more than sandy beaches. Coastal ecosystems support a rich diversity of living things on and off the shore. The UF/IFAS Extension Bookstore has resources that can make your next trip to the beach more adventurous and enriching.
