Holmes County 4-H Clubs
The following 4-H Clubs are available in Holmes County for the 2017-2018 4-H year. Dates are TENTATIVE and can change for any reason. Please carefully monitor 4-H emails, our Facebook page, and monthly newsletters for any date changes.
United Clovers 4-H Club
Youth ages 5-7 (as of September 1st of the current year), also known as 4-H Cloverbuds interested in learning about general 4-H topics, working together in groups, and fun activities to explore hobbies, talents, and skills.

Age 5 to 7 only (By September 1, 2017)

4-H Teen Council Club
Youth ages 12 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in general 4-H topics with a focus on leadership, life skills, and community service projects.

Cooking Masters 4-H Club
Youth ages youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning basic to intermediate cooking skills. Youth will incorporate math and science in the kitchen to create delicious recipes!

4-H Gator Gears Robotics Club
Youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st) interested in learning about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics (STEM) will love the Gators Gears robotics club! Join us as we take apart, put together, spin, fly, wire, splice, and glue together things that you would not think would make something work! Youth will have fun while learning engineering concepts, problem solving, teamwork, and technical applications.

4-H Shotgun Club
Youth ages 10 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning the fun sport of shotgun/skeet shooting. This club is for beginning shotgun shooters and up. No previous knowledge of shotgun is required. Youth are not permitted to use their own shotgun equipment at these club meetings.

Dead Centers Archery 4-H Club
Youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning the fun sport of archery. This club is for the very beginner and up. No previous knowledge of archery is required. Youth are not permitted to bring their own equipment. We will supply equipment for safety reasons.

Dead Centers Shooting Team 4-H Club
Youth qualifiers for the 4-H State Archery Match will utilize this club for additional practices and instruction prior to the competition. This club is for the advanced archers that have qualified for the state archery team and REQUIRES approval from the 4-H Office. Youth may use their own equipment upon instructor’s inspection.

4-H Livestock Club
Youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning basic to intermediate small and large animal sciences. Youth do not have to own their own animal projects to join the club. There will be handling of small and large animals at some club meetings.

Rabbiteers 4-H Club
Youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning all about pet and market rabbits from buying, raising, and showing these animals. Youth do not have to own rabbits to join the club. There will be handling of rabbits at some club meetings.

Hammer Down Air Rifle Club
Youth ages 10 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning the fun sport of air rifle. This club is for beginning air rifle shooters and up. No previous knowledge of air rifles is required. It is not required for youth to have their own equipment to join.
REQUIRED in order for this club to begin meeting monthly:
- 2 adult volunteers willing to lead the club a minimum of 1 hour per month.
Bobbin Buddies 4-H Sewing Club
Youth ages 8 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning basic sewing skills. It is not required for youth to have their own sewing machines to join as the 4-H Program as numerous modern sewing machines available for youth to use.
REQUIRED in order for this club to begin meeting monthly:
- 2 adult volunteers willing to lead the club a minimum of 1 hour per month.
Pixel Pals 4-H Club
Youth ages youth ages 10 and up (as of September 1st of the current year) interested in learning basic to intermediate photography skills. Youth will be allowed to use cell phones or their own personal digital cameras for this club, however, it is not required for youth to have their own cameras to join.
REQUIRED in order for this club to begin meeting monthly:
- 2 adult volunteers willing to lead the club a minimum of 1 hour per month.
