Dr. Randy Cantrell joined UF in 2011 after spending seven years in industry as a housing researcher. He earned degrees from the University of Washington (PhD), Illinois State (MS), and UCF (BS). After graduating from UCF, he served in the Peace Corps as a high-school math teacher in Niger, W. Africa for two years. He enjoys spending time playing with his two daughters when he's not pursuing tenure.
