Primary responsibilities include coordinating research and Extension activities associated with the project; ensuring the collection, management, and organization for field, sensor, and agronomic datasets. Oversee crop growth, irrigation, and nutrient modeling efforts. The position will support irrigation scheduling research through coordinating data quality control efforts, basic analysis, visualization, and documentation, and integrating field and sensor data into modeling platforms used to evaluate water and nutrient use efficiency. Additional duties include coordinating on-station research activities; overseeing field data collection (e.g., irrigation system monitoring, soil moisture sensors, crop measurements); supporting reporting requirements for the grant; supporting graduate student working on the project; and facilitating communication among project collaborators, Extension agents, and stakeholders.
