Fall Into Gardening Education Day with Extension

Love to learn more about gardening in the Panhandle? Plan to attend a special education day, Saturday, October 20, organized by UF IFAS Extension Escambia County Master Gardeners. There will be several sessions featuring the topics of turf management, cool season herbs, making a kokedama, plants for Fall color, and bulbs for the area. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m with a small plant sale and opportunity to tour the demonstration gardens.

An interactive session on making kokedama will be part of the day’s activities. Photo by Beth Bolles, UF IFAS Extension Escambia County.

You may register on Eventbrite for $35 (plus fees). This will include lunch and other refreshments. The program will be held at the Langley Bell 4-H center on 3730 Stefani Road. For more information, call 850-475-5230 or email bbolles@ufl.edu
