Festival of Flight!

Discover the science in our community through engaging activities, special presentations, and more during the Gulf Coast Science Festival. The Festival, from March 8 through 17, will find guests of all ages exploring science and technology at a variety of free events throughout our community.

The Festival of Flight on Saturday, March 10 will feature all things flying. Special demonstrations of drones and model planes will excite the guests with the marvels of technology, while bird and honeybee presentations will amaze with nature. The UWF Argo Armada Rocket Team will be on hand to show off their competition rocket,and the Pensacola MESS Hall and Escambia County 4-H program will have fun hands-on activities for kids. Held at the UF IFAS Extension Escambia 4-H Livestock Facility (5600 Chalker Road, Molino), this free event will be from 10 AM – 2 PM.

Exhibitors include: Northwest Florida Modelers, Inc. (planes), Pensacola FPV Racers (drones), Pensacola MESS Hall, Audubon Florida, Escambia County 4-H, National Naval Aviation Museum, the UWF Argo Armada Rocket Team, and the Escarosa Beekeepers Association.
