The Florida Department of Environmental Protection only sampled Bayou Texar this week. The Escambia County Health Department only sampled Bayou’s Texar and at Sander’s Beach at the mouth of Bayou Chico – these data all look fine.

Red tide continues in Pinellas and Manatee counties – Pinellas has reported fish kills and human respiratory problems – all clear in the panhandle.

The salinity in Bayou Texar is still lower than normal. This week it was 1.8 ppt. It is typically around 15.0 ppt at this station.

DO in Texar was 7.0 mg/L – which is fine.

 

NUTRIENTS
