Cameron Jack is pursuing a Ph.D. under the mentorship of Dr. Jamie Ellis and is researching integrated approaches for effective Varroa control in Florida. He is collaborating with several researchers throughout the world as part of a global effort to mitigate the harmful effects of the parasite on honey bee colonies. During his time at the University of Florida Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory, Cameron has participated in many public and undergraduate education events, written several extension documents and presented at beekeeping meetings throughout the state.
