Dr. Karla Hernandez is the new County Extension Director and Livestock Agent for DeSoto County. She comes to University of Florida from South Dakota State University with a strong background in Agronomy, Animal Science, and Forages. I look forward to support communities, stakeholders, and producers developing programs that will benefit the county as a whole.
