Now is the Time – Get Involved with 4-H

Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Teachers, or other Adults – How can you get kids involved in their community? County? State? Country? World?

Get them involved in 4-H.

What’s 4-H ?

The earliest roots of 4-H were in tomato and corn clubs. Introducing improved agricultural practices to young people meant the next generation of farmers had the tools to increase productivity and efficiency. Today, 4-H clubs remain close to these agricultural roots. But as communities have changed, so have the opportunities 4-H provides to young people.

4-H grows future leaders with fun, friends, and learning. Members choose project areas in woodworking, welding, expressive arts, sewing and design, livestock production, gardening, rockets and so much more. 4-H clubs provide experiences and tools for young people to practice citizenship, leadership, and hands-on learning.

Are you familiar with the 4-H pledge?

Head, Hands, Heart, and Health are the 4 “H’s” in the 4-H pledge.

I pledge my Head to clearer Thinking, my Heart to greater Loyalty,

my Hands to larger Service, and my Health to better Living,

for my Club, my Community, my Country, and my World.

Through 4-H membership young people learn and grow. Developing the skills that will last a lifetime. Registration for 4-H clubs is on-going, so enroll now at v2.4honline.com
