Discover the Magic of 4-H at the Charlotte County 4-H Open House

The Charlotte County 4-H program is hosting its annual 4-H Open House on August 22, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charlotte County 4-H Office, located at 514 E Grace Street in Punta Gorda. This event is an excellent opportunity for families to explore the wide variety of clubs available through 4-H and meet the dedicated leaders who guide the program.

During the open house, each 4-H club will have a booth where attendees can engage with club leaders, learn about different projects and activities, and ask questions to determine which club best matches their child’s interests. With clubs focused on agriculture, science, art, community service, and more, 4-H offers something for every child, helping them develop important life skills and pursue their passions.

The 4-H program is open to youth ages 5-18 (as of September 1, 2024) and provides a diverse range of projects that encourage leadership, citizenship, and the development of practical life skills. Enrollment for the upcoming 4-H year is now open, and club leaders will be available during the open house to assist with the registration process.
