Club Officer Spotlight: Reporter

Who, what, when, where and how – the club Reporter tells the story of the club by writing articles for the Hot off the Press Newsletter or the local newspaper.

Job Requirements:
-Junior, Intermediate, or Senior 4-H member. Junior 4-H’ers will need the support of a parent to complete tasks.
-Must have the ability to type on a computer and access to email.
-Must be able to organize thoughts into a story or article.

Job Description:
The Reporter’s job is to report the 4-H club news – to tell others about 4-H. It is your responsibility to tell others the good things your 4-H’ers are doing and the work that is being accomplished. The Reporter should be prepared for the following tasks:
-Write a monthly report of the club happenings and submit for the Hot off the Press newsletter.
-Write articles and take photographs of special 4-H events for the newspaper.
-Create and send out club flyers.
