$2,000 Scholarships Available from the Southeastern Meat Association
Juniors and Seniors
Eligibility Requirements:
SEMA Scholarships are available to students enrolled on a full-time basis in programs leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in meat science, food science, animal science, or a related field. Students must be enrolled at a University in the Southeastern United States where Association members are located. These states are: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
The Southeastern Meat Association is pleased to provide these scholarships as part of our commitment to the future or our industry. There are many Processing Members interested in providing jobs to scholarship winners. If you are interested in an internship or employment, please contact the SEMA office for more information.
The application and specific eligibility requirements can be found on the Association web site www.southeasternmeat.com. Applications must be received by April 5, 2019.
