2019-2020 Jockey Club Scholarship
The Jockey Club Scholarship will be awarded annually in the amount of $15,000 ($7,500 per semester) to one recipient. Continuing academic excellence each semester is a condition to receive the full scholarship award. The Jockey Club encourages any current or prospective student with an interest in pursuing a career in the equine industry to apply. Candidates must be pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in the equine or applicable field of study that could be applied in the equine industry with preference given to candidates expressing a strong interest in a career in the Thoroughbred industry. Scholarships are for one academic school year and recipients must reapply every year. For spring semester renewal, students must maintain a 3.00 cumulative grade point and full-time status.
