Select Sires is currently seeking applicants for their 2018 Dairy-Sire Marketing internship.
Background and Skills Required:
- Major in dairy or animal science, or in a related area of study
- Understanding of the dairy industry
- Experience with fitting cattle
- Familiarity with dairy cattle pedigrees
- 4-H, FFA and/or collegiate dairy judging experience preferred
Internship Resonsibilities:
- Assisting the marketing department with preparing cattle for photography, including selecting, clipping, grooming and fitting cattle
- Assisting marketing department to coordinate and execute in-house projects as designated by supervisor
- Perform clerical duties, such as photocopying, collating mailings and filing
- Assist other departments under direction of supervisor
Logistics:
- Location: Plain City, Ohio
- Availability: Full-time
- Compensation: Students are paid on an hourly basis
- Transportation: Student must provide his/her own transportation, when traveling for work, transportation will be provided
- Travel: The duties of this position include extensive travel throughout the United States
