There are many ways youth can participate in the Florida 4-H Program!

4-H has a wide range of events and activities to give youth the opportunity to share their unique talents and skills. All 4-H events and activities are designed to add hands-on education to the three primary 4-H programs: Science, Leadership and Citizenship, and Healthy Living. By providing physical, metal, social and emotional growth opportunities, 4-H events give members positive, meaningful experiences.

These events are designed to allow youth the opportunity to (1) gain experience and develop skills in gathering, absorbing, preparing, and presenting educational information, (2) enhance decision making capabilities, (3) learn standards by which comparisons are drawn, (4) develop good sportsmanship.

4-H offers both competitive and non-competitive events and activities are the county, district, state, and national level.
