Nassau County Director/Horticulture Agent IV Rebecca Jordi will discuss the topic of common insects that homeowner encounter on their ornamental landscape plants.

Topics:

1. Management of pests on ornamental plants for the homeowner.
   The emphasis will be on using Best Management Practices (BMP) to protect our beneficial insects.
2. The importance of proper cultural practices to keep landscape plants healthy and avoid creating environments which attract insects and disease.
