As of November 2024, we’re excited to welcome Hannah as the newest member of NATA. Hannah is stepping into the role of Training Coordinator, taking over from Jessica, who has moved on to new opportunities. We would like to take a moment to thank Jessica for their time and dedication to NATA. Their contributions have made a lasting impact within NATA and NATA’s participants; We wish them the best in their next chapter!
Hannah got her bachelor’s degree in Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health in 2023 from the University of Washington. Hannah has a strong background in sustainable agriculture, youth education, and community collaboration. In their last role, Hannah was responsible for designing and implementing agricultural and natural science curriculum for a school district. Hannah specialized in a variety of topics: sustainable agriculture, water conservation, soil erosion, food forests, and native plant identification. After leaving her last position, Hannah was inspired by the outdoor education experience that she was able to share with the community and sought to continue that work in Florida.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys taking care of plants, going on walks, hanging out with friends, and eating chocolate!
When asked about joining NATA as the Training Coordinator, Hannah shared:
“I am excited to meet the professionals who are working so hard to keep Florida’s natural areas beautiful. I am always looking forward to helping people learn and grow in their professions!”
Welcome to the team, Hannah!
