Beekeeping in the Panhandle Begins Next Week

If you have not signed up, there are still several slots for the 2013 BEEKEEPING IN THE PANHANDLE SERIES. There will be many expert speakers, including local beekeepers and researchers from UF / IFAS. Course materials and refreshments will be provided. Cost is a total of $25.00 for all 4 classes.

Dates and topics are as follows

  • February 18: Queen and Package Bee Production
  • February 25 Nutrition/Immunity in Honey Bees
  • March 4 IPM for Disease/Pest Control
  • March 11 History and Theory of Honey Production
