Tri-State Cucurbit Meeting

UF / IFAS of Jackson County will host this year’s annual Watermelon-Cucurbit Meeting on Monday, February 11. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM CST, with the program beginning at 9:00 AM.

Topics to be covered include: squash

      • Disease Control in Cucurbits
      • Fertility Considerations for Cucurbit Crops
      • Pesticide Handling Decisions
      • Applying the Correct Amount
      • Agricultural Practices (GAP)
      • Insect Management in Cucurbits
      • Variety Update for Cucurbit Crops

Speakers include Extension experts in plant disease management, insect pest management and cucurbit production practices. A sponsored lunch will be provided, as well. The Jackson County Ag Center is located a t2741 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 3, Marianna, FL 32448
