Short Course North on Thursday August 9 and Friday August 10


Friends of the Gardens of North West Florida, Florida Federation of Garden Clubs Inc.-District 1, The University of Florida and Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences are inviting you to the Short Course North!




The topics of study and hands-on activities for this event will include:

  • Miniature Roses, Daylilies and African Violets
  • Dwarf Maples
  • Ants
  • Square foot gardening
  • Condo Containers
  • Plant Challenge
  • Hummingbirds
  • Garden Railroads (field trip)
  • Seeds
  • Small and Miniature Designs
  • Wee Weeds

When: August 9-10, 2012

Hours: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

There will also be vendors, plants/tool sales, auctions, door prizes, raffle baskets, freebies!
