The Walton County Master Gardeners present the latest installment of their monthly lecture series entitled “Turfgrass Alternatives for Northwest Florida”. Horticulture Agent Daniel Leonard will present the program for the public on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the UF/IFAS Walton Extension Coastal Branch Office at 70 Logan Lane in Santa Rosa Beach at 10:00 AM. Are you tired of all the headaches turfgrass causes and the maintenance issues that come with it? Learn about low-maintenance, attractive, Florida-Friendly groundcovers that can reduce the amount of turfgrass areas you have to manage or replace it entirely! The cost for the program is $5, payable at the door, cash or checks only please. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Save your place by calling 850-982-8172 or email haneyc@ufl.edu. Light refreshments will be served.
