2015 America Saves Financial Challenge Begins February 22

Make 2015 the year you get your finances in order. Join us for the America Saves Financial Challenge, Feb. 22-March 28. Whether you are in great financial shape or desperately trying to manage your money, the Financial Challenge will help! All of us need some gentle reminders to practice good money habits. Plus there are cash prizes to help you get motivated!

The 2015 America Saves Financial Challenge is a free five-week program beginning Sunday, February 22-Saturday March 28th The Financial Challenge is a great way to celebrate America Saves Week. This is completed on-line, in cooperation with University of Florida and Rutgers Extension Service. Practice ten daily financial challenge habits and earn points for cash prizes. Each time you do the financial action, points are awarded. The ten daily financial management practices include personal actions such as tracking money spent and completing an online personal finance calculation or financial quiz. Paper tracking forms can be downloaded to keep track of daily activities until they are entered online. Participants can compare their daily and weekly progress. There will be weekly and grand cash prizes awarded.

I encourage you to TAKE THE CHALLENGE and develop positive financial actions such as saving money and learning more about financial topics,” says Dr. Barbara O’Neill with Rutgers University.
