The Wakulla County 4-H Chicken Champs Club is proud to participate in the 2018 Chick Chain Show hosted in Chipley, Florida on September, 29th. Participating 4-H youth aged 5-18 have until February 28th to register. If your youth is a first time participant there is a $50 registration fee. For returning Chick Chain participants who would like to show their grown chickens from a previous project there is a $5 fee. Each youth will be given 10 chicks from two kinds of breeds. Keep in mind that Cuckoo Maran is considered a premium breed and will cost an additional $10. For more details and project guides on the 2018 4-H Chick Chain Show please visit:

Additionally,the our 4-H Director Rachel Pienta will be hosting a Poultry Perfection workshop over the summer on July 28th here at the extension arena. More details on this work shop are to come.
