Weed of the Week – Sicklepod

Sicklepod, also known as coffeebeen, has upright stems, oval leaves, and yellow flowers. Seed pods are round, brownish in color, and contain angular seeds. Mature plants are found in late summer and fall. This weed should be controlled during summer months to prevent ingestion by livestock.
