Club Updates
Foxmill Kids & Colts:

- Foxmill Kids & Colts is continuing their meetings over Zoom this year.
- They had some members recognized at the 4-H Awards!
4-Paws:
-
- 4-Paws had a successful showing season with members showing dogs and plants. Members participated in county and district events. The club is continuing meetings through the summer.
Moo Crew
-
- Moo Crew celebrated their end of year at the beach in June.
- Moo Crew is gearing up for next year! They were excited to welcome some new members this year.
Legacy Clovers:
-
- Legacy Clovers wrapped up its year on May 3 and is having some summer meetings. They attended the Youth Cattle Research Day at the UF/IFAS Range Cattle Research and Education Center. Several members are going to the Meats Judging Clinic in Gainesville
- Action Clovers:
-
- They wrapped up their physics project, making a bridge and testing its weight limit.
- Two youths showcased the bridges at the fair.
- Next year, they are planning projects involving rockets and hoping to have all club members submit to the 4-H Showcase.
4-H Livestock:
-
- They are glad to see kids supporting and lifting each other up within the club. There is great camaraderie. Every member entered something and many participated in the County Fair Animal Costume Contest.
- Many members are participating in state events including iLEAD, Camp Cloverleaf, and 4-H University.
Junior Cattlemen:
-
- They celebrated their end of year with a banquet and waterslides on May 3rd.
- The club had many members active at the County Fair. They did their annual fundraiser with the Bee Ridge Women’s Club at the County Fair.
Clogging Clovers:
-
- They had a few members compete at Share the Fun and one went to Districts.
- Some members are participating in state events including iLEAD and Camp Cloverleaf.
All Star Lucky Clovers:
-
- Members successfully entered their plant projects in the County Fair.
- The club celebrated its end of year at Chick-fil-A and Sun Outdoors.
Nature Care Club:
-
- The club did a club plant display at the County Fair.
- Several members entered different projects into the 4-H Showcase at the mini-building.
Booker Middle School
-
- They participated in different STEM activities and lessons led by the Extension Staff and the 4-H Agent throughout the year.
- The kids worked on plants and submitted a club plant display to the County Fair.

County Council
May 8, 2025, marked the last county council meeting of Spring 2025. They discussed 4-H Awards Ceremony planning, elections, and when meetings would restart in the Fall. It was determined that the first Fall meeting will be August 14th.

Upcoming Events
- June 23 – 27, 2025 – 4-H Legislature for 14 – 18 year olds
- Registration for this event has closed but stay tuned for updates on the members’ experience.
- July 28-31, 2025 – 4-H University for 14 – 18 year olds

Florida 4-H Executive Board
Applications are still open for the Florida 4-H Executive Board! Apply to be one of 30 appointees. You can apply regardless of being elected. Applications close the Friday directly after 4-H University.

Scholarships
Scholarships are available to apply for summer camps. While they are closed now for Summer 2025, it’s never too early to be in the know about opportunities for Summer 2026. Applications open November 1st and are distributed in a ‘first-come, first-serve’ manner. Save this link for when it is time to apply.
