EVENT: Program assistants needed for National 4-HNational 4-H Council is seeking high school graduates to serve as program assistants this summer for the popular Citizenship Washington Focus and Leadership Washington Focus programs, in Washington, District of Columbia.
Apply by Jan. 15, 2020, to become a program assistant (PA). PAs receive three weeks of training, seven weeks of programming, and one week of program wrap-up. During programming weeks, PAs work with client groups for the group’s entire stay, from Sunday afternoon until Friday night, working in collaboration with each group’s coordinator as well as Council program and planning staff.
Program PAs become licensed Class B Tour Guides for the Washington, D.C., metro area, and will work to facilitate National 4-H’s educational curricula to groups of youth. For complete information visit: https://4-h.org/parents/citizenship-washington-focus/.
