EVENT: Program assistants needed for National 4-H

National 4-H Council is seeking high school graduates to serve as program assistants this summer for the popular Citizenship Washington Focus and Leadership Washington Focus programs, in Washington, District of Columbia.

Apply by Jan. 15, 2020, to become a program assistant (PA). PAs receive three weeks of training, seven weeks of programming, and one week of program wrap-up. During programming weeks, PAs work with client groups for the group’s entire stay, from Sunday afternoon until Friday night, working in collaboration with each group’s coordinator as well as Council program and planning staff.

Program PAs become licensed Class B Tour Guides for the Washington, D.C., metro area, and will work to facilitate National 4-H’s educational curricula to groups of youth. For complete information visit: https://4-h.org/parents/citizenship-washington-focus/.

National 4 H Council programs are exciting learning experiences for youth and adults from all over the United States and the world. Program Assistants make these programs successful by using their skills and knowledge to help the participants have the most educational and fun experience possible in Washington D.C. and at the National 4 H Conference Center.
