In this “Let’s Keep Moving!” blog series, we will look at exercise categories that can improve your physical ability and health..According to the National Institute of Health, exercise generally falls into four main categories:
- Endurance: aerobic activities that increase your breathing and heart rate
- Strength: increasing your ability to carry out everyday activities
- Balance: improving your capacity to remain steady and upright
- Flexibility: creating greater freedom of movement
