UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County is proud to honor Monica Hallaert as the Volunteer of the Month in April.

Monica has been the “Green in Me” club leader for seven years. Beyond her club leadership role, she has chaperoned several 4-H trips, including the 4-H Day at the Capital in Tallahassee, and frequently helps other 4-H clubs with their activities.

Monica also is the assistant treasurer for the Sarasota 4-H Association and always available to help Extension staff. And she is an outstanding mentor for 4-H youth.

We congratulate Monica for her excellent contributions, and want to thank all our volunteers for all they do, each and every month.
