EVENT: Landscaping love for pollinators

Pollinators are beautiful, colorful, diverse and fun to watch. Our Nov. 9 “Landscaping for Pollinators: The Plants they Love” class will show you how to attract them to your landscape, and how you can create a beautiful pollinator garden.

This free, 90-minute event will give you the skills to create the right conditions and grow the best plants to make your garden a haven for pollinators. Pollinator gardens are a vibrant way you can help protect dwindling populations of pollinators, essential to our food chain. Stay around after class and take a tour in the UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County pollinator garden.

Register early through http://ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.

For more information, call 941-861-9900 or email sarasota@ifas.ufl.edu.

Instructor: Wilma Holley, Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program Specialist, UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County.
