Please join us Oct. 4 as we present and discuss the results of a recent University of Florida review of our 4-H Youth Development Program.

This opportunity to learn more about this valuable program and share your thoughts starts at 6:30 p.m. at the UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County office at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota. An informal networking session will start at 6 p.m., for those who wish to arrive early.

The event is open to any member of the public with an interest in learning more about or expressing their thoughts on the local 4-H effort. Youths, adults, and volunteers associated with the 4-H program in Sarasota County are encouraged to attend.

The review, requested by UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County, is an effort to learn how to better serve the 4-H community in Sarasota County. On that impetus, the university convened a panel of experts to review the local program, looking for areas that could be improved or refined to meet growing needs. The results of that review will be revealed at this event.

We hope that you are able to attend, learn more about our local program, and share your thoughts with us for moving forward. Contact us at 941-861-9900 or 4-H@scgov.net for more information.

Thank you.
