Pinellas County 4-H Fall 2018 Events

Back to school, fall, and everything that comes with it is just around the corner!  Pinellas County 4-H has a TON of great events coming up, with something for everyone.

  1. The new 4-H year officially begins on September 1, 2018.  Anyone interested in joining or starting a new 4-H club can check out how to join 4-H here and view a list of clubs to join here.
  2. New and returning 4-H volunteer training, September 13, 6:30pm-8:30pm at Pinellas County Extension.  RSVP and more information here,
  3. 2018 National Youth Science Day Coding Workshop, October 9, 9am-3pm at Pinellas County Extension.   Sign up on Eventbrite.
  4. Pinellas County Open Horse Show SeriesNovember 4, December 2 and January 6 at Helen Howarth Park.  Classes for ages and to adult.  You do not have to be 4-H member to participate.  Visit the Facebook Event here to stay updated on registration, show bills, and announcements. Spectators welcome, free of charge.
  5. Pinellas 4-H Carnival at Farm City Day, November 10 from 10am-2pm at Heritage Village.  Come on out to play some carnival games, hosted by Pinellas County 4-H! While you’re playing games, learn about how to join or start a 4-H club, volunteer, and what 4-H is all about.  There will also be booths about Florida farming, agriculture, and farm animals to pet!  Event is free to attend, but tickets for games will be for purchase and will support all Pinellas 4-H Clubs.  RSVP and more information here.
