Save Energy, Save Money

logo During Energy Action Month, recognized every October, Pinellas County Extension offers classes to help you save energy and money without sacrificing comfort.

This year’s FREE classes kick off on Saturday Oct 4 when the project partners with Duke Energy and Clearwater Gas to help Pinellas residents develop a plan for an energy efficient home. Attendees will learn about simple at-home fixes that will help improve efficiency, residential incentives, and the benefits of using gas.

Residents may register for classes by visiting www.pinellascountyextension.org, calling the number provided for each location, or emailing sustainability@pinellascounty.org. For general information about these classes, call (727)-582-2656.

Registered adult participants will receive energy totes containing energy saving devices.
