The mission of the UF/IFAS Extension Urban Horticulture Program is to provide Pinellas County residents with research-based information from the University of Florida (our land-grant institution) on garden and landscape issues. We do this through classes, workshops, emails, phone calls, and even help desks where you can speak directly to an Extension professional or Master Gardener volunteer. We are committed to helping you have a beautiful landscape, grow your own herbs and vegetables, tackle a tricky pest problem, and so much more!

We offer walk-in Lawn and Garden Help Desk services at the following locations:

The Cooperative Extension System was established by the Smith-Lever Act of 1914, and allows us all to benefit from the research and education of each state’s land-grant universities. In Florida, Extension has helped millions by tapping the latest information from the research engines of the University of Florida and Florida A&M University and converting it into practical knowledge we use every day.
