Heard about sustainability, not sure where to start?

Ramona Madhosingh-Hector, Urban Sustainability Agent, UF/IFAS Extension

Sustainable-FL-Final-logo-COLORUF/IFAS Extension offers Sustainable FloridiansSM, a six-week interactive class that meets once per week on Wednesdays’ beginning April 9, 2014.

The classes provide a forum for education and community action to address Florida specific issues about water, transportation, energy, land use and food systems. The program uses a hybrid teaching approach with instructor led sessions and peer-to-peer exchanges to create a lively classroom learning experience. Your program registration fee includes energy saving devices to promote behavior change.

Pinellas County is the only county in this region to offer the Sustainable FloridiansSM training program and will be hosting the class once this year. Join us at Weedon Island Preserve for this exciting training opportunity and become a sustainability-aware citizen.

Seats are limited, reserve yours here.
