UF/IFAS Extension offers Sustainable Floridians^SM, a six-week interactive class that meets once per week on Wednesdays’ beginning April 9, 2014.

The classes provide a forum for education and community action to address Florida specific issues about water, transportation, energy, land use and food systems. The program uses a hybrid teaching approach with instructor led sessions and peer-to-peer exchanges to create a lively classroom learning experience. Your program registration fee includes energy saving devices to promote behavior change.

Pinellas County is the only county in this region to offer the Sustainable Floridians^SM training program and will be hosting the class once this year. Join us at Weedon Island Preserve for this exciting training opportunity and become a sustainability-aware citizen.
