Free Lecture “Prepping for a Fall Garden”

A free lecture on Prepping for a Fall Garden is being offered as part of the 8th installment of the Garden Talks Series hosted by the Acreage Branch Library. The public is invited to attend this educational opportunity. The class will take place on Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Acreage Branch Library in Loxahatchee. Topics to be covered include: basic pruning techniques, planting fruit trees correctly, steps to starting a vegetable garden in south Florida, and seasonal crop selection.

Whether you are a life-long resident, seasonal resident, or a new transplant to south Florida, the Garden Talks series is a great place to get useful and practical gardening advice.

No previous gardening experience or previous attendance required. First-timers are welcomed!
