Yes You Can! Food Preservation Classes are Back

Did you grow up preserving food? Whether it was by water bath or pressure canning, drying, or freezing, there are multiple ways to preserve food! Even if you don’t have the experience, it’s never too late to learn. Join us on Thursday, February 22nd at 6pm for a fun and hands-on class. You may come in as a novice, but you will leave with knowledge, experience, and even a jar of the yummy product that YOU have made.

In this class, we will be making jam using a water bath canner. It is a great introduction to canning. The fee includes printed materials, equipment use, food for canning, and meeting space. Each participant will leave with a jar of their own yummy fruit jam, recipes for canning at home, and loads of information to share with others.
