Florida LAKEWATCH has released an information circular to introduce topics and common terms about water management. Circular 101 A Beginners Guide to Water Management — The ABCs provides pictures and explanations on topics such as algae, average plant biomass, limiting nutrients, potassium, trophic state and water quality. And that’s only to name a few! The document aims to bridge the information gap between the scientific community that studies Florida’s waters and the people who want to learn about the lakes, rivers and streams they care for.
