I’ll be the first to admit that North Florida lawns are frustrating. Why are lawns difficult here? The answer involves a mixture of factors.
In these seminars, I will show you how to diagnose and correct the following common contributors for failure and decline of Florida lawns.
- Soil compaction
- Nutrient imbalances
- Lawn pests (diseases and insects)
- Improper lawn maintenance practices
I have found that most homeowners play a guessing game when attempting to determine why their lawns are declining or dying. As a result, they can make matters worse, they become frustrated and the lawn ends up costing them more than it should.
This is why I’m offering these two seminars. I’ll cover the same information at both. Just pick the one that works best for you.
Both seminars are scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026. The first one will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the UF/IFAS Extension Office located at 3098 Airport Road in Crestview. The second one will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sheila Dunning Extension Building located at 1954 Lewis Turner Boulevard in Fort Walton Beach.
The registration fee is $10. Space is limited.
