Women & Money: Unique Issues

UF/IFAS Extension Offices in Okaloosa, Walton & Santa Rosa counties are offering a Women and Money: Unique Issues educational series.

At some point in their life, women are likely to be solely responsible for financial decision making. This series is designed to provide women with information and encouragement about being financially successful. No matter where you are in your path toward understanding financial management, you are likely to increase your confidence in your ability to manage your finances.

The classes will cover the following topics:
• Unique issues for women
• Money Basics: Getting organized, financial goal setting and a spending plan will help you keep your finger on your financial pulse.
• Protecting Assets: Learning about insurance, identity theft, scams, fraud, and credit management will help you identify, evaluate, and develop a plan for protects your assets.
• Investing Basics: Learning how to manage your money and how to invest will likely help your money grow.
• Estate Planning: Developing an estate plan helps ensure your wishes are carried out.

Locations are as follows:
OKALOOSA—Extension Office 3098 Airport Road, Crestview
WALTON—Coastal Branch Library, 437 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach
SANTA ROSA—Extension Office, Milton
The 3-part series costs $20 per person; which covers the cost of all materials. You may register at http://fcs-nw.eventbrite.comor in person at your local Extension Office by September 27.
