About the Speaker
Angela “Angie” Enyedi serves as the warning coordination meteorologist and emergency response meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Jacksonville, Florida. Her career began as a student intern in 2000 while earning a bachelor’s degree in meteorology (magna cum laude) from Florida State University. She returned to Jacksonville as a forecaster in 2002 and has since advanced to lead forecaster, certified Type 1 incident meteorologist and, in 2025, warning coordination meteorologist.
Enyedi has supported response efforts for hurricanes, wildfires and other major weather events, including Hurricanes Matthew (2016), Irma (2017), Dorian (2019) and Helene (2022). She is committed to delivering clear, actionable weather information that helps communities and decision-makers take proactive steps to stay safe.
