May 4, 2026 — The pathway to a bachelor’s degree is becoming more flexible for Florida students.
The University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is expanding its Gator Tracks Transfer Pathway through a partnership with College of Central Florida (CF), creating more opportunities for associate degree students to seamlessly continue their education at UF.

Designed for students interested in one of 20 eligible CALS majors, including agricultural operations management, geomatics, entomology and nematology or wildlife ecology and conservation, the program quickly connects College of Central Florida students with CALS academic advisers to help guide their transition to a UF bachelor’s degree.
“Florida is filled with talented students, and many of them start their collegiate journey with an associate degree at a state or community college,” said CALS Dean Kati Migliaccio. “With Gator Tracks, we’re removing barriers and providing a clear, supported pathway for those students to achieve their academic goals.”
Through Gator Tracks, College of Central Florida students can receive a range of support services, including one-on-one advising with academic advisers from both College of Central Florida and CALS, transfer student-focused workshops offered both in person and virtually, and expedited admissions decisions.
“For many local students, the dream of attending a prestigious Florida university is only possible by getting an affordable, quality education at CF for the first two years,” said CF President Dr. Jim Henningsen. “This new partnership with the University of Florida offers students a guided pathway from day one to set them up for success.”
Each year, about 30% of the CALS graduating class is comprised of students who started at UF as a transfer student.
Applications to join the Gator Tracks Transfer Pathway are currently open for students at College of Central Florida.
